Stage 3: Document data rules as SBVR fact types and rule statements
Knobit of Data modelling · K-302 · Skill
Recognises a data rule no valid data can satisfy
What it means
A rule that cannot be satisfied by any data that also satisfies its neighbours. The consequence of row 1, and worth naming separately because it is the rule that will never fire.
How it is assessed
Flags the deficient case and passes the acceptable one. Deficient: `BR-2` above: no row can ever satisfy it while `BR-1` stands Acceptable: Resolve the contradiction; the surviving rule is satisfiable (`ANO-006`)
